Jammates Records announces a March 25 release date for Back on My Good Foot, the label debut CD from Athens, Georgia-based blues/rock singer and guitarist Rick Fowler. Among those joining him on the album are Randall Bramblett (Hammond organ), Gerry Hansen (drums) and Michael C. Steele (bass and backing vocals) - all members of the Randall Bramblett Band - as well as original R.E.M. drummer Bill Berry, who guests on the song, "Road to Nowhere."

Jammates Records signs Mojo:Saint to a management and artist development services agreement. Mojo:Saint, the newly formed contemporary blues band, features Billy Earl McClelland (guitar, vocal) at the helm with top-drawer sideman David Brazeal (drums). McClelland, best known for his time spent as a Nashville session-player, has teamed with Brazeal, life-long friend and veteran regional musician, to play the music that moves them most -- the blues.

Jammates Wraps Recording for Future of Jazz Compilation CD


Atlanta / LaGrange Georgia 12-19-2005 ... Jammates wraps recording for the upcoming Future of Jazz compilation CD, Future of Jazz - Volume #1. The CD is scheduled to hit the streets late-February 2006. Featuring some of Georgia's top jazz artists, the project was recorded at Churchill Grounds, Atlanta's premiere live jazz venue, during September-December of this year. The recording is unique in that all profits from CD and digital download sales will go to The City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs to help strengthen the local artist presence during their 3-day Atlanta Jazz Festival, held annually over the Memorial Day weekend.
